2. Purpose of data processing
Delacon processes personal data of employees, partners, (potential) customers and suppliers for the purpose of performance business and fulfilling related legal and contractual requirements.
2.1 Processing of personal data of customer and supplier
Delacon processes the personal data provided by interested parties, customers and suppliers for the preparation of offers and the processing of assignments as well as the fulfillment of the associated contractual and legal obligations. To fulfill legal obligations, the data is also forwarded to public authorities and service providers.
The contact details and application documents submitted in the course of an application will be electronically processed by us for the purpose of selecting suitable candidates for employment.
In case of cancellation, the application documents will only be kept in evidence, if the applicant consents.
2.3 Website & Cookies
2.3.1 IP address
By visiting our website, information is automatically stored on the web server. This includes the browser used to visit our website, the operating system used, the page, that referred to our website, the IP address, the time of access and other information. These data is pseudonymized from Delacon point of view and cannot be used to identify a unique person without additional data sources.
Delacon does not evaluate this data as long as there is no illegal use of the website.
The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or as far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. 2.3.3. Embedded Youtube-Videos
On some of our websites we embed Youtube videos. The corresponding plug-ins are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to Youtube’s servers. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. This can be prevented by logging out of your Youtube account before.
Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.
2.3.3 Google Ads
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an advertisement sent by Google, Google Ads will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google-served ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can not be tracked through Ads advertisers’ websites. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.
If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can refuse the required setting of a cookie – for example via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies or sets your browser to block cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”.

2.6. Facebook Pixel
We use the “visitor action pixels” from Facebook Inc (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”)) on our website.

3. Principles relating to processing of personal data
The processing of personal data is based on strict principles, which regard the protection and security of the data as well as the rights of the data subject’s as the highest assets.
Lawfulness & transparency
Data processing is lawful, transparent and fair. Upon collecting the data, the data subject will be informed about the planned processing and handling of the data. Thus, data subjects are informed at least about the following points:

- Purpose of the data processing
- Legal basis of the processing
The data is collected and processed for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes. The processing of the data does not take place in a manner incompatible with these purposes.

Storage limitation & erasure

All employees of Delacon and its subsidiaries are contractually bound to secrecy and are regularly advised and trained on the secure handling of personal and other critical data.

Protecting the confidentiality, availability and integrity of data is an essential task of Delacon. This applies equally to trade secrets, customer data, personal data and other critical information.
For this purpose, state of the art technical and organizational security measures are established and constantly improved.
6. Data protection officer
Delacon has no need to name a designated DPO, as Article 37 (1) of the GDPR is not applicable.
However, in line with the importance of data protection, Delacon has decided to appoint a data protection officer on a voluntary basis. He is available to the data subjects and the supervisory authority as a point of contact and takes care of privacy issues in the group companies.

7. Rights of the data subject
Any data subject whose personal data is processed by Delacon has at all times the opportunity to rely on the data subjects’ own rights and assert them with the Delacon Data Protection Officer.

Data subjects may at any time request information about which personal data is processed about them and which purposes this processing serves.
Right to rectification

The data subject has the right to demand immediate deletion of the personal data concerning him / her if the legal basis for the processing of the data is missing or omitted, the data processing is objected or the data processing is unlawful and no legal retention periods make deletion impossible.
