We build the Delacon hub to break new grounds

The Delacon hub makes it possible to produce 20.000 tons of phytogenics. That’s equal to 2,283 kg per hour. Amazing, isn’t it? Today, I introduce you our 20 Million Euro project. The new home base for phytogenius minds.

It will be possible to produce 20.000 tons of phytogenics per year, in multi-shift operations. That’s equal to 2,283 kg per hour.

The new hub will serve as the center to thrive our mission. As Joerg Niebelschuetz, project lead points out, “We are investing in a sustainable pillar for the future. We speed-up to stay ahead of the competition, to secure our position as leading experts.”

For years, industry dynamics and strategic partnerships have paid off. The demand for natural feed additives has increased. By all indications, it will continue to do so.

Preparing for the future: Sustaining growth with the Delacon hub

Every second team member has already contributed to this project. Like Wolfgang Stachl, Production Manager and a core team. They have been involved in the entire production, processes, and logistics concept.

Some of our raw materials have special properties. “Hence, we selected appropriate technologies, state of the art production methods,” says Karola, Senior R&D Manager.

She adds, “We introduced a dynamic interface between product development and the fully automatic production.”

Similarly, other colleagues are participating in interior design. So, “it’s very positive how team members can shape the development of the hub,” says Anna Wolfmayr, Global HR Lead.

“Finally, working across departments is the basis for the successful implementation of these new processes.“

Keep following up for Delacon hub updates.

In October 2018, we celebrated the groundbreaking. Steps are now underway to build the production facility.
