The Delacon Hub, home for phytogenius minds

Packing, labeling, rolling and lifting – in January, first-team members have already been moving in. Since then, we have already explored our new work environment. Here are the top things to do when visiting the Delacon Hub.

Since we first spoke about building new facilities, we unveil a new name: The Delacon Hub. The idea was not only to build a new workplace for team members in Austria but really to create a space for all, who are dedicated to phytogenics. For the global Delacon team, partners, or suppliers. In short, it was designed for phytogenius minds.

In the Hub we are debuting an open-minded, explorative and collaborative work environment that we think supports us shaping the phytogenic future every day.

Top things to do in the Delacon Hub

Delacon invested in a modern production site for meeting the future needs for phytogenics. In a few weeks we can already start first production trials of Biostrong®. Are you curious how it will look like in real life?

Soak up the atmosphere of the Greenery

Entering the Greenery is like all your senses are being touched. Smelling the taste of delicious and wholesome food. Hearing team members chat and laugh, and many more. It is the center of the Delacon Hub, where team members have lunch, or get the latest infos in townhall meetings.

Taste is always of primary importance at Delacon. Hence, Delacon team members developed a unique food concept for the Hub. It includes catering with:

  • regional and seasonal products
  • whole grain products, pulses, nuts and seeds, low-fat dairy products and fish
  • sparingly, added sugar and fats at the preparation of the meals
  • fresh food available at anytime

Explore one of our meeting rooms and think tanks

Together, team members worked on a unique Delacon experience within the Hub. Why not to release the power of nature in the interior design? Using the citrus fruits’ actives to stimulate creativity? Calming down with the relaxing properties of lavender? Spice up your meetings with pepper?

Delacon’s think tanks were named after scientists with a special relation to our business. Bonnie Bassler, for example, is famous for her expertise in quorum sensing – the process of cell-cell communication in bacteria. This process is something we make use of when we develop the next generation of phytogenics.

“The office landscape creates a wonderful experience about what we like most: understanding the plant universe, its ingredients and their impact.“
